So I get the purches removed and ready to be re installed. What's the easiest way to make sure the axle is centered?

Would it be worth it to put a 96 full float 14 bolt into my square. I bought this axle for 150. Was told it came from an 89 Burban. But it's actually from 96 Chevy. It has 4.10 gear with a factory locker.
