Sometimes Dead, No Start
87 V10, 305, Sm465 I just finished replacing the headers on my 305 and now it won't start. I tested the motor Monday after I finished the drivers side and it started up just fine. I just got the chance to put on the passenger side and now I can't get it to start. More than half the time...- LuckyB50

4wd not stay engaged
87 v10 sm465/208 When I put it in 4hi I need to hold the t-case handle to the rear to keep the 4wd engaged if I move the truck at all. It works just fine in 4lo. What trouble shootimg steps should I run through to diagnose this and rule out what it isn't? What are the probable causes?- LuckyB50

Missing Plate?
I recently acquired an 87 v10 with a 305 / SM465. I was crawling underneath and noticed something odd. I can see the teeth on the flywheel I think. The attached picture is taken facing the rear with the camera touching the starter motor. Should there be a plate there the previous owner didn't...- LuckyB50
