    Energy Suspension bushing fitment

I had a chance to look at the OEM springs. The center of the OEM springs where the alignment pin is located measures 2-3/4". Then it expands in width to the front and rear eyelet resembling an hour glass figure. I'll take actual measurements tomorrow. The LMC springs have constant width from end...

    Energy Suspension bushing fitment

Thanks for the validation of concern. I definitely didn’t install the wrong bushings. Your pictures look correct. The bushings I received are different than yours but look identical to the stock. I called ES and they said the LMC springs are most likely not exactly like stock. Can you measure...

    Energy Suspension bushing fitment

I agree with everything here. I’m not sure you’re seeing what I am. One bushing correctly fits flush against the leaf eye on one side. The other side is not flush against the leafs eye and is being held away from the eyelet by the bushing that fits flush. Then the sleeve sticks out of the...

    Energy Suspension bushing fitment

Shouldn’t there be some sort of pressure on the side of the leaf springs so there is no lateral movement. Just like control arms on IFS or if you had coil springs in front there is a track bar is in place to keep the lateral movement out of the axle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Energy Suspension bushing fitment

Won’t that space between bushing to side of eye and the extra sleeve material allow the axle to have side to side movement? I ask Because the shackle should clamp down on the metal sleeve and allow the rest to float. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Energy Suspension bushing fitment

I ordered new OE style leaf springs from LMC. I also ordered new bushings from http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/products/chevrolet_k20_4wd_1984 and ordered OE replacement bushings “Part Number: 3.18102”. My front rear leaf eye doesn’t fit correctly. The poly bushings don’t fit flush with...

    Bend in front leaf spring

Thanks for the recommendation. I did see them doing a search. I also was looking at eatonsprings.com. Does anyone have any experience with them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bend in front leaf spring

Hey this is my first post! I did some searching before I posted this. I didn’t see anything about this so sorry if I missed it elsewhere. I was cleaning up my front leaf springs and preparing for a bushing replacement but I noticed this bend in the pack. I know these springs have a factory...

    Drivers Outer Cab Corner Help

I've been looking into tabco for patch panels. They claim to be OE quality and made in the USA. I thought all of these square body parts are made over seas with thin metal and worn-out dies. Anyone have experience with them?
