Got all the supports floor, kick panel in. Set the door gaps and have the rocker ready to go now. Started cutting out the cab corner and found that it had been repaired before. They just put a replacement corner over the original and welded it in.
Passenger side floor isn’t as bad as I thought. The driver side tho♂️. Someone has been in here before. There’s a hole cut out above the body mount bolt.
Starting on tearing the truck down and already ran into a wheel well bolt that’s frozen. I’m thinking I’ll have to cut the head off to remove the fender and have better access. I’ll get some pictures uploaded soon on the progress
My engine decided to keep fouling out the number 1 and 3 plugs so I decided to find out why. Pulled the head of and the 1 chamber has a ton of build up on it! What do you guys think? Guides bad? The truck didn’t smoke or anything out of the ordinary.
That’s what I was thinking. Worried about having a solid enough place to lift the cab to replace the main floor brace. Still waiting for my inner rocker panels so it’ll be a while before I get started.
That’s what I was thinking. Just have to order that support now. Watched some videos and looks like I’ll be able to replace the support then replace the floor pan so I can spot weld it all together.
