Is a 10 bolt a direct replacement for a dana 44
My dana 44 is junk and i have a line on a 10 bolt for cheap, are there any differences is mounting them? Is it a direct replacement?- Pabishma

2 ?s did 74 jimmy come with a dana44?
Had a guy tell me that my 74 jimmy didnt come with a dana 44 only a corporate 10 bolt. Is that possible? My truck has a 44 in it now . Also does any one know the length of the drive shaft for a 74 gmc jimmy? Thanks in advance!- Pabishma

Need help finding 74 jimmy front driveshaft
New to forum. Just bought a 74 jimmy and need help finding front drive shaft! I dont know what years crossover or what axels cross over. It has a 203 and dana 44 with 3:73's . I am going to do a 4 inch lift so if that effects the length i would like to know that too. Not new to cars but new to...- Pabishma
