truck randomly stalls out, but runs perfect otherwise. help me out here
Actually after some thinking here, i really don't think its loading up and dying, i know what that's like, it would blow black smoke when re-starting it and you'd have to clear it out, turns out i was wrong when i said i had to hold the pedal down to start it, it will still fire back up...- fire-chickens

Yes I've posted this on other forums, but i want to get answers from different opinions too. Alright I recently installed a new Quickfuel 780cfm carb on my truck that has a BBC. electric choke vacuum secondaries. today while driving it in 20 degree weather it warmed up fine drove down the road...- fire-chickens

TH400 skips 2nd gears goes right for 3rd WTF
turns out I was incorrect after some careful and lighter driving it seems to be working but the shifts are very soft going from 2nd to 3rd gear, and its a bit early shift kinda. which i realized my worst problem could be adjusting the vacuum modulator. the truck sat a lot too for the past...- fire-chickens

somebody HELP me, Wiper & Headlight switch 1984 C10
switched the lights around bought a new low beam headlight, and all is well thanks for the help! apparently whomever replaced them didn't pay attention when they took the lights apart.- fire-chickens

TH400 skips 2nd gears goes right for 3rd WTF
Alright I just bought a '84 C10 with a TH400 and a BBC and for some reason 2nd gear works fine when shifted manually but but accelerating in drive it'll go from 1st to 3rd. what would cause this issue? 2nd gear will work if manually shifted to either gear. from 3rd to 2nd it will...- fire-chickens

how many inch rear is a stock 1984 10 bolt rear end?
just like the question states, i have a factory 3.08 gearset in my '84 C10 and it has the 10 bolt rear end but i want to buy 3.73's or 3.55's for it, but need to know how many inches it is, 8.2 or 8.5 or 8.750? i need a for sure answer before i order.- fire-chickens

somebody HELP me, Wiper & Headlight switch 1984 C10
if i switch them around then i should be good and i do believe the low beam headlight is out on the drivers side bottom, so 1 new light and a half hour of time ill have it fixed hopefully. someone wasnt using their head when they replaced the headlights...- fire-chickens

Alright i just recently bought a 1984 Chevy C10 and on the way from driving it 700 miles home the wiper washer fluid was stuck on spray, and i tried to turn it off and i guess the wiper switch went bad as well, and it will no longer turn the wipers off and you have to mess with the washer fluid...- fire-chickens
