That's good to know, thank you. Yeah the fan works, I would say that it runs too hot for sure. I don't have access to a thermal gun to measure the temperature. How does that work?? Seems too good to be true lmao. Yeah I think this one is running like 230-240, which is definitely too hot. Okay good to know. Thank you, I'll try that here pretty soon. It was ran with actual antifreeze and it looks decent, no rust or anything like that. Hello, I just got a '73 GMC C25 with a 454/400 and it's been running pretty hot (3/4th on the gauge) what can I do to make it run cooler? What's the first move?
Yes, I was looking at all of the specs and such before I went and got it. I went and looked at it and it had one spot of rot on the dog leg. I bought and drove it home (from the next town over) it ran great and rode fine. It just is running a little bit hot, not overheating just a little bit...- cobbisbobobbis
