can a stock bottom end on 72 402 actually its a 414 but will it hold up to 5 to 7 lbs of boost from procharger how much hp gains or should i just invest in another bb with about 450 hp- 86stepside

no the distributor was in motor when i got it took my distributor out my 350 that was in truck before the switch to bb it already had recurve kit it was only ran for 6 months in 350 but it fixed my problem once i got passing gear cable set right its the one with long slotted hook up but its...- 86stepside

normal driving it has a little off idle hesitation does great as long as i dont go past 3/4 throttle then it starts sputtering bad ease of throttle just a little and it levels off in park it works great no hesitation or high rpm sputter- 86stepside

fuel pump puts out up to 14 lbs of pressure its set at 6 lbs its actually a 414 now but pretty much stock except cam has 218/224 @.50 527 lift- 86stepside

I have a bb 402 with q-jet was hesitating off idle and sputtering a falling on its face at about 4500 rpms bought a jet perfomance q-jet . still does same thing . new plugs,wires,rotor and cap still does same thing- 86stepside
