    Thanks for the tech advice! Parking rod removed. As you can see, mysterious object does not fit head of rod…much smaller. Suggestions on where to pick up new rod/assembly?? I see them on eBay. Also, is the rod/assembly Th700R4 specific?

    Already have pan/filter/fluid removed. I’ll check out this tool, YouTube videos and disassembly options. As for the seal, looks like I can pick one up at Summit. Thankfully, it’s close by. Hoping item in pan is something insignificant… Thank you for the reply!
