    C20 suburban and sway bars

Howdy all, My 85 c20 has a conservative drop (spindles and springs up front, shackles and leafs rear). I have the factory sway bar up front and none in the rear. Does anyone have any recs for sway bars specifically the rear? Curious if moving to a umi or qa1 even up front too would be better….

    Lowered c20 suburban and rake

I guess we are going to pull a leaf this week. Hopefully this doesn’t create any axle wrap or pinion angle issue.

Ai copilot is telling me to remove the lowest shortest spring so that I don’t change pinion angle or create other problems

    Lowered c20 suburban and rake

Has anyone ever removed a leaf or 2? I only want to get one more inch of drop in the rear but I know removing leafs one at a time will be a gamble.

Spoke with western chassis, springs won’t be made for a long time. They told me to remove a leaf or 2

Doesn’t even look like anyone makes perches for the burbs. Western chassis makes a 4” drop leaf spring but it’s $800 so I was looking to something cheaper.

Thanks for all your replies! Wonder if a spring perch replacement would work? 1 more inch?

    Lowered c20 suburban and rake

Howdy gents, I have a question and want your opinion about my stance. I have a c20 with drop shackles in the rear and removed the helper leaf spring so I think my rear is lowered 2.5-3 inches (old springs might have some sag). The front has western chassis 3” drop coils and 2.5 drop spindles...

    Airlift helper bag kit suburban

Howdy all, We dropped my square body lower so I have no use for my airlift helper bags. This kit retailed at $500 new and I picked this kit up but it’s never been installed. This kit shows to work on all c10 and c20 suburbans from 1972-1990. LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Spring Kit - 88221 |...

C20 suburban with moderate drop, what shocks?

I only rub on hard downhill fast turns, other than that none. The sound I’m getting is a hard rebound clang and bounce back feel. Almost like riding on airbag bump stops.
