Funnily enough. I've thought about that. I happen to have 2 of thoes we use for construction. Since I made the post tho ive decided imma just adapt my 79 ac to the 84. Firewall is alrety screwed, went and testfitted and it fits.- randomTruckKid

Well in my long search for ac in my 1979 c10 with a 84 cab. I have always had diffent firewall holes. Drastically different. I've budgeted and found vintage air is too expensive for what ive got going for me right now. So in the last hour I made alot of progress into finding 1984 ac parts...- randomTruckKid

Rear axle not alligning?
De lifting my c10, all I did was take out the lift blocks, but for some reason the allignment pins won't allighn. I can get one side on fine, but the other is off to the side by about an inch maybe 1/2 inch.- randomTruckKid

Brakes still dont work.
Well if you haven't figured it out I'm a little stupid. Also thw awnser to my question is yes I should put the supposedly "broken" one in. Because it's not broken and works better than the other one. Who would've guessed....Not me.- randomTruckKid

Cs130 altenator not working.. maybe?
Alr so trying to out my solution in simplest terms. The activator wire from my painless harness kit was not supplying any sort of power(to the L port of the altenator) when the key was on. Odd question... brakes are ... sub optimal. But good enough to drive while being carefull. But the rubber seal on my master is on backwards. It actually seems to be the wrong one. I can't seem to find the correct one however. Could this be part of my issue? (I've got a replacement mc coming in...- randomTruckKid

Puting a wire between the switched power one (just before the resistor) and the battery made it work. Now It seems my white wire switch isn't working?- randomTruckKid

So my altenator hasn't been working.. or at least the voltage kn my gauge dosnt go up since I rebuilt my truck. I haven't gotten around to much addressing the issue due to other things like brakes. It's a cs130 altenator. And I re wired with a painless kit. The altenator is also brand new...- randomTruckKid

Brakes still dont work.
This one dosnt go to the floor like the other one. It gets most of the way there then gets super stiff and I have to push super had and it slowly goes down. Don't think do?- randomTruckKid

Just kinda at the end of the stroke. It kina weezes or makes a goose sound. I can't hear it when the truck is on but I'm shure it's there. Both masters did it.- randomTruckKid

Nvm. Old master = good. I haven't even bled the lines but I needed to get the tuck in the garage (it's freezing) and it stops better than woth the other matser However my truck REALLY does not like the cold- randomTruckKid
