    I've been searching around for an air intake kit that would fit my 1987 gmc sierra r1500. It has a 350 5.7 TBI. The earliest year i could find on K&N was 1988. Has anyone done this or can anyone refer me to an actual kit that should work for my truck and engine?

    yeah it's all brown. I'm assuming the truck was originally yellow. I havent checked the color code yet but thats the first color after metal on a spot that was chipped.

    I have fuel injection actually and yesterday I took the cap off of my distributor and cleaned it out. Wasn't sure if I should try replacing my spark plug wires because after I changed the plugs she ran great no problems for about three days and then it started all over again
