who has lowered their c20 suburban?

I have done front springs and rear shackle so about 2-2.5" would like to go more and try to avoid a c notch but not totally against it. I was thinking spindles (if they're ever in stock) but not sure how to approach the rear, would like to keep some ability to tow.

Taking off passenger head about 37 bolts so far

I'm starting to think this post is a troll. You can't possibly think you'll be fine using that transmission. I cant even understand why you didn't remove those bolts, you don't even need to get under the truck or need a special tool. The converter does not hold up the transmission...

In all seriousness that trans housing is trashed. There is no way to make it work in that condition.

    4.1 mpg?

I would avoid revving the guts out of it, the only limiter these old engines have is when it comes apart. I would get some of the previous mentioned issues resolved especially timing. Draining antifreeze before changing intake manifold

I had a pin hole in an intake that was weeping coolant. I really didn't have time to pull it and replace or whatever so i grabbed a bottle of K-seal and dumped it in. stopped leaking in less than 10 min. and its been a while now so I'm just gonna leave it.

    Help with wiring!

sounds like the hgeadlight ciurcut is back feeding the ignition. I'd start by tracing that all the way back.

Ya i'm definatly capable have all the tools (quality tools) and can do this this job. Its not that big of a deal that i'll mess with it now and probably wait till next winter when my cars sit because of the salt and snow. I will look at the easy stuff now though just to rule it out.
