    Truck pulls to the right.

I can check it, but it’s all got less than 20k miles on it. Replaced the entire front suspension and steering.

    Truck pulls to the right.

It might be an idler arm. However, it’s a moog part and it’s got less then 20k on it.

    Truck pulls to the right.

1987 R20 Suburban. What’s causing my braking issue? When ever I hit the brakes the truck pulls to the right. The harder I hit them the harder it pulls. To the point of needing to counter steer with some effort to avoid going in the ditch. Had to “panic” stop in the rain a few days ago, only...

Any restart, even running the truck for less then 30 seconds.

    1987 Suburban Idle Issues

Both, but only on restarts. Starts up fine cold. Even if all I do is run the truck for less then a minute. Sometimes reving it a little helps

No leaks and the spray patter looks good. They’re new ac delco injectors

Lines match the picture, I know it’s running rich in general.

Took it out of the bracket, put air to it and doesn’t seem to be plugged up either

Well it did a motor humming for a couple minutes, pulled it twice and pushed the plunger in to reset it. Seems to be functional. Would a bad icm or spark control be a culprits? I haven’t done those yet.

Jumped the pins and turned the key, the iac just hummed and never clicked. Touched the side of it with my hand to make sure it was what I was hearing.

Months after. Did the iac in September. But I will give that a shot tomorrow morning and post an update

    1987 Suburban Idle Issues

I took it out of the bracket, mines the tank to canister to tbi style. Shock the hell out of it, no rattling or anything. An air gun seems to push air through without an issue

    1987 Suburban Idle Issues

Just checked it, sorry for the long wait. But I did shake it and there wasn’t anything moving inside, and nothing came out. Any way I can “delete” it to see it maybe it’s plugged up or otherwise bad? Edit: it did absolutely reek of gas when I took the hoses off

I’ll check that when I get to the shop. Was told that it could be the purge valve, but I couldn’t find it. All I’ve got is the lint from the tank and a line to the tbi

    1987 Suburban Idle Issues

I haven’t touched it at all, and it was working without issue before. I’m also not sure how that’d affect the truck the way it’s acting up. Any ways to test it?

    1987 Suburban Idle Issues

‘87 R20 Suburban with 5.7and TH400. Having an issue with truck idle. Starts up fine in the morning or after work. If I start it up to roughly 1-3 hours after (inconsistent) it’ll only occasionally not start, most of the time it’ll fire right up. Then when it tries to idle down it’ll go to...
