I got a few wows. So, I’ll explain. I inherited this truck from my Father’s passing. There were people that didn’t think I should have the truck and apparently pulled some **** before I got it. I ran through one tank of gas in everything clogged. Easy fix. -
What have you done to your square lately??
I rebuilt the Edelbrock carb, changed the fuel pump and did a cap, rotor and hi output coil. Now I have to drop the tank, if it ever stops raining. Suspected flour I guess in the tank. Pic of the carb -

I have tons of antique shops in my town. I hardly buy anything, but it’s fun to walk through them and say “that’s the same butter dish that grandma had”. Lol -

My grandfather just turned 100. He sold his house last year and he had a Thomas Edison spark plug cleaner hanging on the wall. I think my cousin got it. I hope so. -

I was chasing this fuel filter because of rough running. And it obviously was full of stuff. But, I must have an ignition issue. I don’t have the time right now to drive the truck much. I replaced the fuel filter and and it runs the same. On and off loss of power and I noticed it sometimes pops...- 410 John

Yeah, my research has come up the same with the Indy. New shifters are $250-500 range. There are stock replacements for like a bench seat Nova that aren’t to expensive. Something will turn up. On average, used Hurst shifters are $200, without linkage. I’m aware of those multiple lever stock car...- 410 John

If I install a Saginaw car based 4 speed in my 83 C10. It’s a truck 4 speed now, with the granny first gear. What should I do for a shifter? I’m probably getting a used Saginaw from a buddy for $100. I’m not spending $500. I’m guessing a truck stiffer is mounted a little forward. I can make a...- 410 John
