What is this? Accumulator on a non-A/C Truck?

Yup, I was punked. I parked it on my jobsite when I first bought it and left it unlocked. They got me. Luckily, that wasn't bad - I've seen them pick a car with a AWD forklift (Lull) and set it on top of a conex, then hide the lull keys.

Asking because you guys are smart and polite. The knowledge base here is better than any other forum i have been on, even if I don't have a square.

What is this? Accumulator on a non-A/C Truck?

Is a dryer the same as an accumulator? here is what the google says: " Your car may have either a receiver/dryer or accumulator, depending on the model of your vehicle. A receiver/dryer is used on vehicles that have a thermal expansion valve. Accumulators are in vehicles that have an orifice...

What is this? Accumulator on a non-A/C Truck?

So I have a mystery item in front of my radiator. It looks like an A/C Accumulator, but the truck never had A/C from the Factory (Heat only), doesn't have holes in the firewall like any A/C lines were ever installed and by the way the blue electric lines were run, this did not come from the...

    TIRE SIZE MISMATCH

I talked myself into 235/85 (dually space concerns) and reading your post just confirmed it. Thanks! Now for a bunch of googling to find the cheapest BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 in size 235/85/r16 I can always re-gear the diff if I need more torque. Not worried about the rear, but the...

    TIRE SIZE MISMATCH

I could go with the 235/70 for a 1.2% increase, but then I will load load capacity, which is more important.

    TIRE SIZE MISMATCH

Thank you! I am interested in loading the truck down/hauling with as much weight as possible (safely) - it is not a DD. Farm use, tree stump pulling etc. I did a little research and the gap between the rear should not be less than 1/2" so when I get home I will check the 245/75 set up. I...

By the way, what classifies as a square body - is 1990 to new? I see 70's and 80's trucks in here!
