Good to know. For now, I’m just keeping an eye out for a good cab to get the pinch metal under the windshield at the corners. Even then, it’s not a huge deal. Both corners at the bottom that have rot are only a couple inches long- any experienced body shop dude should be able to fabricate it...- ChuckN

Glad you got it sorted! Those temp sensors can be a PITA finding the right one. I went through a couple before I happened upon one from Autozone that read right- I have seen on here people posting the correct ohms for the years but can’t remember where. There’s two ports on the front that are the same size- one is lower that is manifold vacuum. I use manifold vacuum for vacuum advance. I don’t use a PCV valve, have a breather to atmosphere on each valve cover. But I did use that large port to hook up a vacuum gauge to tune the idle mixture. I... -

Well, already had to replace the header gaskets. I supplied the shop with them when having them installed and the exhaust re-bent with the compressible aluminum ones, but they swore that they would need the square port version because of the exhaust ports. They did use the compressible gasket... -
