    i run my dimmer on the floor where it should be. your floor pan is already dimpled for it from the factory. i still use the wiper switch on the turn signal handle.

    Bypass the esc, make sure your vac advance only gets vacuum when you gas it, not full time vac. and no one way valve to the vac advance.

    I WILL HAVE TO GO LOOK, BUT LEAVE THE 4 WIRE PLUG UNPLUGGED AND SPLICE A & C TOGETHER ON DIST. SIDE OF HARNESS. EST BYPASS.

    Am I crazy to expect more than 10 MPG

    I RUN A 350 ROLLER CAM, 750 EDELBROCK, 350C TRANNY, 2:73 REAR END. I'VE CHECKED IT TWICE. RUNNING BETWEEN 90-100 MPH FOR 5-6 HOURS, I GET 13.5 MPG. GOT 13.6 THE LAST TIME. 1986 C-10 2WD. WITH THE A/C KICKING.

    Hey Ninja, If you do use the Edelbrock? Stake all the plugs in it before you put it on, They will blow out and it wont run for ****!!!!

    Carb'ed vortec looking for info and opinions

    I run a 350 vortec w/edelbrock performer dual plane intake, 750cfm edelbrock carb, ported the heads, and run headers. Got a 350 automatic with a lockup converter and a 2.73 rear end. I've checked the mileage twice on a freeway run to texas. Running 95 mph for 4 hours mine gets 13.6 mpg. I never...
