    Good thinking. Really it's just the motors are so expensive for the pre 82 stuff. We are taking $100 vs $20 per door. All of the other items are reasonably priced.

    Just checked and the prices are cheaper, but there is still a huge difference in the price in the stuff pre 82 versus 82 and up. Can I use 1982 and up power window guts and motors in my 79 door?

    I have a 79 K5 blazer im rebuilding. It has power windows but all the guts (regulator etc.) Need to be replaced to. When looking at the LMC catalog the stuff before 1982 is way more expensive. Can I use all of the power window parts from an 82 in my 1979?

    So I have been watching a ton of videos on how to use ls droid, and different tuner software packages. Really ls droid and a stock manual trans file will do everything we want to do. Thanks for the info on the ECU numbers. That *** the key that unlocked my searches.
