Passenger side Coolant leak
Just an fyi. I rebuilt a 350 taken from a 1989 TBI and installed it in my 1985 pickup. When rebuilding the engine, I removed the knock sensor and observed what I thought to be a blind hole threaded in 1/4 x 18. I thought nothing of it for the past 18 months and maybe 3000 miles on the engine...- newguy11

Oil pressure sensor 305 / 350
1985 c10 I swapped my 305 for a new 350. And relocated the oil pressure sensor from behind the distributor to above the oil filter. FYI to plug the oil suppy hole behind the distributor you will need a 1/8 NPT plug, they can be had at any hardware store for 5$ or so. To mount the sender to...- newguy11

Things I wish I knew
Recently completed an engine build and like the title says…. Concerning aluminum intakes or in my case a used edelbrock performer. I wish I had drilled and heli-coiled the water neck and distributor bolt holes BEFORE I installed the engine. Note to self aluminum intakes and steel bolts...- newguy11
