Oh My What has Easton Bought Now

Well y’all, been laying rather low with just minor things popping up on E’s square. I go out of town and come home to this! He bought this 85 Burb to restore! I asked him who was going to help him, and of course he said I was. I told him we nearly killed each other during the first build...

    Dome light upgrade

We used the LED upgrade for dome and left original foot well lights original since I could not find direct replacement LED to fit those sockets. We did add a floor well LED under dash over hump and it totally illuminated the floor and just tapped the power from stock well lights. Randy and E

    fuel venting

Ken, we had same issue. PO did the charcoal canister delete 2 port sending unit as well. Found that same steel line under radiator shroud and PO cut it drivers side bottom and that was it. We smelled gas all the time and could not find at the time a canister. I made a small charcoal filter...

Trash my dash? And interior panel take offs?

Lesson we learned in our build is you never throw anything away. Either you needed it later for a template, or someone else needed it or you can’t figure how the new stuff goes in and you have something to work with…..I can’t tell you how many times we needed something we had discarded months...

    Loose cab mount

We were very lucky on our cab mounts. We had read and saw some people on YouTube that had such trouble with them so we were prepared. We set aside an entire two days for just the mounts. Easton got the first one done in 20 minutes, and had them all finished before lunch the same day. We were...

    Vent window adjustment?

Lots of soapy water, or window cleaner and use a plastic tool to push it into the frame. The precision gasket came with a plastic tool that worked well. We found if you heated the gasket with heat gun or hot water (we did ours in December and it was cold in garage) they became more playable...
