The leaf spring bushings need replacing
I'm having to start the hunt for new leaf springs myself. 1986 Chevy C20 with a 305. Can anyone recommend some good springs that I could/should go with? if i measured correctly, they look to be 56" (26/30) with about a 2.5" stack. New master cylinder on the way
Came across a new issue tonight when trying to bleed the brakes. I found that I have a line, facing towards the passenger side front the proportioning valve, has a leak in it, and it's shooting fluid out. Lower control arm: u-bolt torque
Working on my truck on my next few days off. I have a radiator to swap out, and a lower control arm to replace. Warped rotors?
All the brake parts I got (with the exception of the Caliper) were Raybestos, and I got them from Rock Auto. After using them myself, I found that their prices are a lot better if you are able to wait a few days for the shipping, as opposed to the local parts stores. But be sure you know the... -
Warped rotors?
Just wanted to give you guys a quick update. Ended up replacing the rotors, the brake hoses,the pads, and the driver's side caliper. After all that, my truck now stops like a dream! No more vibrating the truck apart while coming to a stop! -
