    Wanted! Drivers side lock rod

It’s metal, I posted a previous picture of the top half of the rod that broke in half with the screw on lock knob next to it.The bottom half is attached to a lift actuator. I planned on removing the attached bottom piece but it rained today so it didn’t happen.... Thanks for taking the time to...

    Wanted! Drivers side lock rod

I only removed the door panel to check out what was going on. The lower end was still attached it looked like it had a loop on the end and was maybe held by a metal clip. The door still locks so I didn’t mess with anything yet. I’ll remove the other half in the morning

Check engine light after replacing gauges

It wasn’t connected to my speedometer so I didn’t reconnect it... that was my first thought when I got the code. I just wasn’t sure if I should reconnect it since it was already disconnected. Reconnected my speedometer cable but I did not connect my cruise control to the back of my speedometer as it didn’t work when I purchased the vehicle. Could this be why I am...

Check engine light after replacing gauges

I just replaced my temperature gauge and fuel gage in my cluster, reconnected the bezel and drove a couple miles to fill with gas to make sure all my gauges were working. My check engine light just came on. I did replace a few fuses. Everything seems to be working the only thing that is...

Putting 89 blazer Dash back together

Thanks for all the help. As far as the gear shift indicator I just clipped it on the the plastic sleeve that rotates on the steering column as you shift. I don’t see any screw to attach it too. It seems to be holding and working correctly as I shift.

Putting 89 blazer Dash back together

No, it’s not the fiber optic in the ash tray connected to the gauge cluster. There is a small led like light on the end of what looks like two wires on the left side under the steering wheel. While I’ve been putting the blazer back together, I wasn’t the one who took it apart so just making sure...
