    Yeah the oil gets dark really quick. Do you use the carb/fuel injector cleaner once a month or every gas tank? and I’ve been using 10w-30 but I’ll give your suggested oil a try thanks

    Alright I plugged it up and now it’s just idling really low... who wants to give me the tutorial on the isle screws :). I could look it up on you tube but I’d rather talk to you guys

    I also did just replace the valve covers and replaced the pcv valve with a breather. Could that be it ?

    Hey ladies and gents. just recently had this problem starting that I go to start the truck and it’ll turn after a couple goes. Idles high then it slowly idles down then turns off. Any ideas?

    I know I know I read the thread above. so I know I need to replace the valve and I was looking at diagrams for vacuum lines. And I looked under the hood and it looks to me the previous owner took out the solenoid also. It’s a 1984 so I assumed that he just took all the emissions stuff...

    I’m looking to replace the gaskets on the transmission pan and oil pan. Should I just go ahead and get new pans also or should replacing the gasket be fine ? THANKs!!!

    Bought the truck two weeks ago, from a guy in Sanford, NC. Took it home and took the bench out so I could clean underneath and what not. I found: 15 shotgun shells 6 empty beer cans 12 black and mild wrappers And a socket wrench. then I took the cover he had off the seat so I could wash...

    Hello team! I bought my 84 k10. Like over a week ago. Looking to attack some of these leaks and replace the oil pan gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, and valve cover gasket. I’m going to have the front and rear pumpkins serviced also... anything else I should be thinking of? Thanks!!
