    Which carb to buy?

Edelbrocks are great and easy to tune regardless of what dude said above, I like all carbs and they are all pretty good. You need to take the time to tune it properly. Do yourself a favor and get and AFR gauge so you can easily dial in any fuel system you go with.

    Just built 355 overheating!

I got a .060 over SBC with 454 radiator and it runs fine even in Tucson AZ 110 summer day. I would ditch TBI and toss in HEI and carb. I also like to use those old analog temp gauge and oil pressure on the engine direct to the block for an extra reference to the dash gauges...

    Carb info/comments

Time to upgrade to Edelbrock, get an AFR gauge put in and jet it right. Quadrajets work good, but jet changes are a pain in ace.

    Aftermarket steering column advise

I am trying to get an 83 shortbed back on the road, it is a mess and needs a steering column. Anybody have a good experience with some of the columns from speedway, summit etc. The flaming river and ididit look good, but are expensive. Tilt, key and column would be ideal, but willing to give...
