UpBadging ?
I’m trying to decide if I should put a Silverado badge on my Scottsdale truck? I’m going to be installing full carpet and full door panels with all the extras and power windows. Im also installing on the back of the cab the 3 piece trim. But I’m on the fence if I should go all the way and swap... -

My moldings can in and there is not enough Length Gonna ordered more :mad3: I also double side taped on the old Scottsdale emblem to get an idea of what it’s going to look like once they come in- 82maple

So a buff job is pretty vague term. There are more then one type of ways to buff. A color correction is a term used to describe all buffing steps to eliminate paint flaws and imperfections. basically a color correction is multi step process to make the paint perfect- 82maple

After removing the camper the paint was worn down around the back cab where the seal of the camper was also some surface rust under the window. I removed the back window sanded the damage area. Then I used a rust dissolver and rust converter to stop the rust followed by primer and paint- 82maple

I finally got my Scottsdale down to the detailer for a 2 stage paint correction and ceramic coat. it’s the original paint so I’m going for the patina look on the outside with new trim and Accessories (I’ll update photos as more gets done) A few pics b4 the detail- 82maple

California k5 and Scottsdale
I’m new to the old school trucks and I just got my hands on a 1982 k5 2wd and a 1982 Scottsdale. My Scottsdale is running and driving with only 120k and super clean My k5 has a blown head gasket and will be the project truck. It’s all there but needs some tlc- 82maple
