Another update; Usually work on this for 1-2 hours after work but progress is being made. Got water pump and power steering cleaned and painted. Have to say not happy with the orange. Makes me think it looks holloweenish. Gunna try a more red color. Another question- I can maintain the ls...- Black Beauty

Trans swap shift linkage question
Doing a LS swap on my 85 k20 LQ4/4l80e. I am not sure why I didn’t think of it but just picked up the trans this weekend and boom I was like uh oh. I looked around on here and I can’t seem to find it. For anyone who has done something similar, how did you get the linkage to mate to the trans...- Black Beauty

Just an update, Picked up the trans, transfer case is rebuilt, next step is cleaning and painting. Pulled valve covers and front accessories off intake is next. All new seals and gaskets. Mounts came in and have been put on. We are making progress! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- Black Beauty

I can’t seem to find the answer to this but I have no idea what this is for... I THINK that this is where a line would run into trans/trans cooler??? It’s not threaded and all I can see is tons of crap filling the trans case up. Currently rebuilding it and doing a lq4/4l80e swap. Any help is...- Black Beauty

Just picked up a 90/91 burb gauge cluster. Looks to be in pretty decent shape. I’ll clean it up. The guy who’s gunna help me wire the whole thing is going to stop by tomorrow and we are gunna go over all the little stuff that I need to get/do before we actually start to wire. I am waiting on they guy who I picked up the 6.0 from. He had one but his partner didn’t know it was sold already(is what it is). Rebuild kit for the 208 is here, mounts came in but don’t fit??? So I have an update... Pulled the 350 and th400 sold them both. Picked up a 6.0 lq4 and started the process of getting that put in. Currently stripping the harness off the engine and am waiting on motor mounts to come in. Rebuild kit for my 208 is here so I’ll tackle that while my guy is...- Black Beauty

Seemed ok to me for what I’ve seen on the internet. I know ls engines are plentiful but if it has like a hair under 150k miles people think it’s worth it’s weight in gold.
