Problem bleeding
I had to shorten my brake lines when I made my longbed a shortbed. While bleeding, I can only get fluid to bleed out the right rear. The left rear will not even get fluid. I did reset the proportioning valve so I don’t believe that to be the problem. What would cause this? -

Trying to figure out AC
The ‘79 C10 I bought looks to be a non AC truck. Someone put an AC compressor mounted with what appears to be a fabricated bracket. There is also a condensor installed and an evaporator under the dash and the lines. I don’t know if any electrics are hooked up or even there. How do I figure...- Scratcher

Difficult start
When I try to start it, it sound like my battery is dying. It cranks slowly but not enough to start it. With a jump it starts right up. Multimeter shows the battery to have 11.9 volts. Is there something wrong with my meter? The battery? The starter? -

Will this tranny work in my truck?
My '79 Chevy has a 350 from an '81 vette with a th350. I do a lot of highway driving (my girlfriend lives an hour way). So I am wanting a th700r4. I have the opportunity to pick up a working tranny out of a 90's suburban. Problem is the suburban is a 4x4. What will I need to make this...- Scratcher

Alternator draining battery
I have a '79 with a 350 from an '81 Corvette. It has HEI ignition. A few months ago I replaced the battery and alternator (3 wire type). After that, the battery would drain overnight.
