So I'm getting close to done swapping a 454 in place of my 350. I'm hitting a snag on the accessory bracket/belt situation. I just got a set up from a tbi 454 where the power steering pump and alternator are on the same bracket. The belt tensioner is on that bracket as well. The dilemma is I...- Dleighton

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any insight on how well a 10 bolt rear end would last after a 454 motor swap. I just had it rebuilt last year, 4.56 gears, 35 inch tires. I think the current motor is not the stock setup. As my vintage and the codes in the glove compartment say my truck came with a 305. But I ran the numbers on what's in there, and it's definitely a 350. Is there a way to tell what style of clutch is in the truck now? Without tearing everything...- Dleighton
