    What are these wires?

That other connector looks funny, but, I think it's your answer. This pic is from the internet and a 3rd Gen Camaro but same idea.

    What are these wires?

The 1st plug is cruise. No idea on the 2nd, but a free bump ! Britt

    Front discs won’t release

Glad you found it. I had a master cylinder fail on Goldie and fronts would lock, but you could wiggle the pedal and ultimately free it up. I have never had one fail like that-usually it is that pucker inspiring foot to the floor pedal operation. Hopefully your replacement does well for...

    Rear Brakes Locking Up

Yup. Large line up front and connected to the right of the spool valve switch.

    Rear Brakes Locking Up

Well, here is my old one I saved in a plastic bag in the garage. So much for protection from the Houston humidity... However, it does show the front chamber is smaller. The front is to the right. I never knew.

    Wiper Issues

No idea, but a question- does the dash light switch work for the lights ? I am at a loss as to what wiring in the column could cause the dash lights to come on as the only other wiring in the column is for the turn signal switch and cruise if equipped.

    Lost Power to Power Windows.

If you jostled the 2 connectors on the ignition switch it could be causing power issues. I recently had weird blower issues - neither would work , then would- that turned out to be a bad spot on a terminal of the ignition switch. Blower requires key on power. Your power window issues could...

    Rear Brakes Locking Up

Actually, I was doing a little research on my work computer earlier today so can't link it but found a video of a 78 with the same set up and a you tube video showing that the forward ports on older cars often power the rear brakes. So , I believe it is factory. Doesn't explain why my issue...

    Lost Power to Power Windows.

I wonder if a ground on the bus bar up by the parking brake pedal is loose. Or, if somehow one of the plugs on the ignition switch is loose. Just a wild guess based on the worked before. Good Luck !

AC & Heat selection and vents

The hot and cold select is a cable operation so I am guessing that is not hooked up. Sadly you would have to get back in to the dash to see. The others are controlled by vacuum and I would check to see if the main supply under the hood is still connected.

    Rear Brakes Locking Up

OK - I believe this picture is correct. Now, I would have ASSUMED the rears get a smaller line versus the fronts. That is not the way my 1980 half ton is plumbed and you can not reverse the fittings on the master cylinder- different sizes. I tried and found out. :anitoof: So - is my stuff...

What have you done to your square lately??

Looks like an analysis of the Valvoline R & R 5W30, but was there something else I was missing? Thanks ! Britt

Stumbled across this post the other day. Can't tell you the pitch but it may help you ID the fan. https://www.airforums.com/forums/f310/radiator-fan-clutch-woes-155571.html#post1866681 Scroll up for the full thread.

    REDS NECK REPARES!~

Speedi Sleeve on the old axle? Reuse the old seal ? Seems like a lot of work for a bandaid but not sure how to beat a leak without a reseal. I guess no one makes a diff stop leak product. :anitoof:

Can anyone tell me what this is??

Emissions = Federally mandated . Can't escape it in larger counties. Safety = Not required by the Feds. FREEDOM! I actually 100% follow you about safety inspections but it is (now) what it is.

Swaybar mount on. My poor OE bushing got squished by the wrong mount. Hopefully it will regenerate it's shape

What have you done to your square lately??

What I will be doing later - more swaybar bracket fun. Both LMC styles here along with the broken OE one and a ~10 dollar one from Vato Zone that came WITH a bushing. You tell me. AZ part number FA1655 and the LMC part nos are visible. :anitoof:

    Nylon cam gear years

To each, their own. I am not a fan of timing belts either as I see that as a planned obsolescence. Timing chains are typically a life of the engine item if the engine is maintained and the gear & chain are metal in my experience. Most of the nylon coated ones I saw failed around 70K.

    Ignition problems

I would think lock cylinder, not ignition switch as unlock issues are more typically lock cylinder. Or, a worn key - have you tried another? Ignition switch pic, FYI- did that today.

What have you done to your square lately??

To solve the original blower problem the column has to come down. And, hopefully the super glue holds on this vent. Some of the mounting ears broke. PITA. I hate getting into it due to the aftermarket stereo and the engineered solution for the shift indicator. Who would have thought...

What have you done to your square lately??

More dash work - had to check out the ac switch since BOTH blowers would randomly quit working. I think it is the pin in the ignition switch or the plug is loose. Since I was there, and the brake light bulb had quit working due to a bad trace, more engineering. The fuel gauge trace was messed...
