    Electric Fuel Pump

Eric, I don't know what you do for a living but if you told me you were an certified accountant with lots of experience and we were discussing taxes I would expect that would have a great deal to do with the conversation and I'd also think you knew what you were doing. You assume to know more...

    Electric Fuel Pump

WTF? Bought from my local parts store. Edelbrock chooses to make these pumps in China. Spoke to their tech line here in SoCal and the guy said they're having nothing but trouble with these Chinese pumps. He recommended I just return it to Autozone. They really stood behind this one.

    Electric Fuel Pump

Hey guys, What are you using for an electric fuel pump? I'm in California, with the horrible corn gas, many starting issues so I decided to install an electric fuel pump. Bought an Edelbrock part number 17301 with 4-7 psi (Made in China) for $68.00. Should have been just what...

    LS9?

The basic 350 engines in all of our trucks is the LS9. Has been that way on most SPIDs from the 1960's through the 80's. But now when you google LS9 it goes directly to Chevy's new 6.2 liter turbocharged V-8. What the hell? Did they run out of alpha numeric combinations and have to start...

    KC Lites to LED?

Sorry, I guess that's more of a desert thing. An arroyo is a watercourse cut into the rock or sand, usually from lots of flash flooding but dry 99% of the time. Spanish word. Really it's just a big dangerous hole in the ground, you can find them all over the desert here. Some are stable...

    KC Lites to LED?

Hah! I'm getting older, my night vision ain't what it used to be, Hell, I use those overhead lights in town to see better! Oh, and you're right Grit dog, I don't go "boonie bashing" any more. Last time was 5 or 6 years ago I was way out in the desert on an easy dirt road just cruising "the...

    KC Lites to LED?

I agree about the modern look not being correct. I like the look of the old style bulb better too, but there's just no comparison in the amount of light projected by the two different styles. Plus when I turn the 4 KC's on, I can see a pretty good load registering on my charge system...

    KC Lites to LED?

Ouch! Thanks for the leads guys. I guess I've been out of touch too. $500 for 4 bulbs is a little tough for me to justify. I guess I'll just stick with my ancient incandescents for now. ;)

    KC Lites to LED?

Hey Guys! Does anyone here know if there is a direct replacement LED bulb for my 70's style KC's? They are the typical 6 inch lights. Appreciate any and all input. Greg

    Painted Emblems

Thanks Juggernaut, (and thanks for all the likes, guys!) I used a Rust-Oleum product, available at any Home Depot or Lowes, etc. I'm not usually a big fan of Rust-Oleum because of their exceedingly long dry time (24 hours, ugh!) But once it's finally dry it's very durable with excellent non...

    Painted Emblems

Yes, they had some color but only the red part like the repros that FireTruck1984 posted above. The "Cheyenne" part came bare from Chevrolet and just looked wrong to me. I'm sure they were originally designed to have color like the Blazer emblems did but eventually Chevy started to cheap out...

    Bed Rails for Long Bed

Looking for a reasonably priced set of used OE style bed rails to fit my long bed fleetside. If you have a pair collecting dust in your garage, let's talk. Cheers, Greg

    Painted Emblems

I've been looking at my Cheyenne emblems ever since I bought my truck and just felt they looked wrong being bare. I liked the idea of color in these emblems like many other square body models had. I'm sure they were designed to have been painted but then some bean counter nixed it at the last...
