Will the Shifter from a cast iron top work on an aluminum top on a SM465
I have a cast iron top cover on my trans now and I have bought the aluminum top cover to relocate the shifter back, but the aluminum cover doesnt have a shifter with it. I was told that the shifter is unique to the cover for the iron top and would not work on the aluminum top. Does anyone know...- rb_nelly23
