    Stupid question I know

    I had to replace my u joints in my rear driveshaft (82 k10). Didn’t think about it but I forget which end goes to the transmission and which end goes to the axle. One end is a bit tapered. Does that end go to the transmission?

    Behind seat

    What are you guys doing for your wall behind the seat? I’m not sure if I want to do carpet but I don’t want to leave it bare either. Looking for ideas.

    What am I missing

    I ordered a new gauge cluster housing for my 82k10 because my old one I broke a piece off. But when I got the new one (no tach w/ clock) there’s no “port” for my speedometer cable to go into and clip in. Am I missing something? Old on top new on bottom

    Other than the only light in my dash that works is when my right turn signal is on. I replaced the headlight switch (not the knob but the electronic part) and still nothing when it comes to brightening/dimming my dash lights. All parts and bulbs are new. And suggestions? Just waiting on the...

    I’ve got my dash all apart and trying to clean up the wiring. I seen these 2 not plugged into anything. Any idea what they go to? The light is attached to the top of the ashtray but I didn’t see anywhere it goes into.

    Nothing works

    No gauges in my dash work. No lights in my dash work. My wiper quit went from working to stopping then starting to nothing now. My headlights and turn signals work but nothing lights inside the cab. Radio, horn and heater work as they should. What should I check? All fuses are fine.

    Carpet

    I plan on adding carpet to my 82 k10 manual. Any places you recommend or stay away from? Also do I need both sound deadening and heat shield or is one ok?

    My dash lights and gauges don’t work.

    Gas tank won’t fill

    I went to fill up my gas tank. Stopped like it was full and it’s not. I got about 2.5 gallons in. It has dual tanks but the left side is the but the fuel selector valve needs to be replaced.     LED bulbs in gauge cluster

    I put in new led bulbs, bulb clip holder things, printed circuit and metal clips. The led bulbs are hit or miss if they will light up. When I bought my truck some of bulbs were burnt out so I decided to go to the led. Any idea why they aren’t working? 1982 k10
