Bearing wear
I have attached a couple of pictures of one of the main caps and rod cap bearings form a 160k mile 1993 454 I’m working on. Does this wear seem excessive. The crank appears to smooth without any grooves or distortion. These are the only 2 I have removed so far.- Byard-HWJ

Replacing 454 gaskets opinion
Hello, I have finally had an opportunity to pull my donor 160k mile 1993 454 engine to swap into a 1980 K30, the engine ran as smooth as a 2024 model when pulled.
