    New carb starts then dies after 5 seconds

    I recently got a new Edelbrock 1406 for my 84 Chevy c 10 and put it in hooked everything up and started it I pumped the gas and it finally started but would stop and die after 2-3 seconds any help?

    1984 Chevy C10

    Recently got truck running by realized carb leaked. Reinstalled new seals and it started by me putting gas in the carb but shut off after 10 seconds. Now it won’t start at all even when I pour gas in.

    1984 Chevy c10 starts when pours gas in carb

    My Chevy c10 does not start unless I put gas in the carb. I replaced gas tank, sending unit, and fuel pump everything is hooked up but gas doesn’t get to the carb any clue what’s up
