    Noise in transmission while clutch is engaged sm465

    I have a whirling/grinding noise in my transmission while the clutch is out when I press the clutch pedal in its like magic and no noise. Its the sm465 4wd with I believe the np205 transfercase.     Cab harness questions/issues

    I swapped a cab on my 77 k15 for an 80 c10 cab. I plugged the engine harness in and the only power I have to the entire cab is the 4 way flashers. I've pulled every fuse in the think and checked they're all dead. Any one had this happen to them? Stock swap 350 carb engine not an LS swap...

    Steering shaft swap questions

    I just put a complete 80 cab on my 77 k15 frame, and the steering shaft is too short. Would everything fit in if I just reuse the steering column for the 77 cab? I wanna get some clarification on this before I start to yank the columns out or spend extra money on a new steering shaft. Thanks all.
