    What are your favorite/ best looking valve covers for SBC?

    I have the plain version of those but had the local cylinder head shop add a hole that fits a stock Chevy rubber oil fill plug. I needed tall covers for the old Crane gold roller rockers.

    Fuel pump is attached to the passenger side of engine. The fuel sender in the tank would be easier with the bed off but can still be done without.

    With thar fuel line at the carb, you have basically a rubber line making a hard 90* turn. I would correct that first.

    Turbo4whl is correct on the third line, I just referred to it as a return line. . I use this for a vent instead of the cannister. A vented gas cap would not be best imho. The holley has a safety feature in case of rollover...

    The stock mechanical fuel pump on my 86 truck had 3 lines also. 3/8" supply, 1/4" return and 5/16" cannister vent line. Are you sure your return is 5/16"? 1/4" would be too small for proper return line with an electric pump. I am using aftermarket braided PTFE lines now as I took all the other 3...

    I don't know if it makes a difference but Holley's instructions for your regulator has the filters before the regulator. The reviews on your regulator on Summit are mixed good/bad...

    I believe that only applies to EFI. This was included in my Aeromotive kit instructions. I have this kit: https://aeromotiveinc.com/product/carbureted-phantom-200-kit/ Here's a diagram included in instructions. Notice supply and return line is same size and regulator BEFORE the carb.

    Waiting on Kilmat to arrive then I will put the new carpet down followed by the seats. Next, I am gathering parts for a QA-1 coil over's front/rear plus Wilwood Pro Forged sealed bearing drop spindles. I already have front upper/lower control arms & spindles. The control arms are really nice!
