    That's what I am thinking. Since I already have it set up just need to snip and solder a few wires. I do not feel like spending the $40-60 on a mechanical pump. Not to mention save some $$$ on extra fuel lines to run to the pump.

    Did you change out your springs? I was always under the impression tbi swirl port heads couldn't handle much lift with stock equipment.

    I might still keep the electrics just because but it could change. Well keep an eye for my write up I should be done with it soon. Once I figure this fuel issue and get the heads back from the machine shop I'll be putting everything back together and on the truck.

    Don't make the mistake I did. Be sure that you're TDC on cylinder 1 on the compression stroke. Not with cylinder 6 on the compression stroke. My balancer mark and tab were off when that happened.

    I had figured the fuel pump would be powered by the ignition somehow or through the oil press switch. I thought that on tbi motors if no oil press it would shut down the fuel in attempts to save the motor from damage. Which wire would you suggest lol? This was before I tore things apart...

    Called comp cams and the tech said on the 12-300-4 could defiantly get away with 500-550 cfm. Although the tech wasn't much help just said he could give me a ball park number but said oh yeah with that cam 625 would be more than plenty.
