    HEI module dwell time.

I bought my '78 in 2004 or 2005. Had some unknown HEI dizzy in it. Probably the cheapest one the P.O. could get. I was a teen and abused that truck. Something went bad with the ignition. Could've been a loose connection or something like that. I would check nowadays, but I didn't know what I was...

    HEI module dwell time.

Used to roll around with an extra HEI module in my '78 K25. Got me out of a jam once or twice. Nowadays, HEI distributors are so cheap, I have a whole spare in the race tool box.

Not talking voltage, but current. And that's straight from the instructions for the 8207.

The coil just needs ignition switched positive and a ground, through the module or breaker points or whatever. And a ballast resistor if there's no current limiting in the distributor.

    Steering Coupling Boot

I used one for a Jeep for my '78 Camaro. Was close enough to make work. https://www.autozone.com/suspension-steering-tire-and-wheel/steering-coupling-boot/p/crown-automotive-jeep-replacement-steering-shaft-bushing-8132676k/1360322_0_0

Rear AC Evap core & blower motor wheels. 86 Burb

The motor is the same for a '86 as a '76. And the '76 blower wheels show available at rock auto. Compare the external dimensions I linked above and you should be good to go.

Rear AC Evap core & blower motor wheels. 86 Burb

I don't KNOW, but they sure LOOK the same. The one for a '88 R10 Suburban with a 350 (Four Seasons 54430) lists dimensions. Check it against yours. Blower wheels? The Four Seasons catalog shows a couple blower wheels that may work...

Wanting Led upgrade throughout while keeping stock look... Recommendations?

Hunter is not wrong. LED bulbs in the last five years have gotten much better at recreating the pattern of incandescent bulbs and working appropriately in reflectors. I've been running LED retrofit bulbs in my reflector based daily and motorcycle for that long. The main difference is I was able...

Wanting Led upgrade throughout while keeping stock look... Recommendations?

I have. Not in that specific application, but they are designed to flow electricity just like a filament bulb without the extra impedance. The work when inserted in either direction.

Wanting Led upgrade throughout while keeping stock look... Recommendations?

There are a ton of options. I recommend getting a glass housing for your headlights so you can swap whatever kind of LED you want in to it. As far as the parking lights, non-polar 194 LEDs should work. I will be testing this on my own soon. Non polars have a rectifier built in so that they work...

4L80E swap with US SHIFT trans controller for 4X4. anyone done it?

Haven't done it with a t-case, but just did it in a 2wd car. Here's the settings available for transfer cases. There are extra settings in other areas, such as TCC Commander for 4 wheeling.

PVC and PEX for Compressed Air

We've had RapidAir line in the shop for a bunch of years now. Works great and install was super easy. It's terminated into overhead reels so it's all up on the ceiling.

    Fuel return diy

For fuel, there's no issue running a 3 or 4 port regulator at the carb. The Holley 12-887 is a bypass regulator with an extra port for a gauge. I've got a catch can on my Camaro and my buddy's '63 Nova. They work great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B081N392BN/

    1999 454 carb swap. best street carb, 600? 650? 750? CFM

I've got a QFT SS 850 on my 383. Excellent carb. Was also on a 427 and a 350. Ran great on the 427, just a little big for the 350.

    Fuel return diy

If you're only running 5.5psi and the fuel pump is "overpowering" the needle and seat, causing a rich condition, that would also prevent vaporlock. It's more likely that you smell fuel because the burning oil has soiled a spark plug and a cylinder is missfiring. Thus fuel down the exhaust. If...

Limited-Time Deal: Save on Black Horse Grille Guards

    wiring issues

Sounds like grounding issues. Stray voltages do all manner of weird things. The flashers and turn signals are separate circuits. Check your signals at both sides of the the comb connector in the steering wheel.

Spark plug gap closed fresh rebuild

What did those look like? It's entirely possible whatever was banging around in there did its thing and went out the exhaust valve. You should do a relative compression test. Pull them all and check. Anything over 120 is "enough".
