What new tools have you got lately?
Saw this sitting on a garbage can while driving home. I don’t need it but at that price I couldn’t let it go. Other than the lid being a little sun faded it’s in good shape. Measures 20.5”x 12”h x 9”d. I’ll put it on Craigslist for $30 and see if I get any nibbles. -

Suburban leaf spring choice - sagging rear - question on stock ride height
GM Heritage lists an overall height of 73.8" for the op's vehicle but doesn't say where on the roof line that measurement was taken. A useless number considering even non-stock tire size will affect the results.- skysurfer

Slightly off topic. I have one of those Amazon specials on my woodchipper. If installed on something that vibrates, the mounting bracket breaks at the 90-degree bend. I made a new one with steel and all is well. (Sadly, I did not notice any performance gains from the red color)- skysurfer

1987 Suburban v1500 - what separates the v1500 and v2500?
I believe the V2500 came standard with the 14b semi-float rear axle, while the C2500 had the full-float. An option to changing the rear springs would be to add some helper bags.
