    visor worth anything?

I’ll admit I like them on these trucks and the gmt400 style too. They look slick on lifted 4x4s

I want a rear sliding window!

Problem with brothers is you pay almost as much in shipping as the window costs. I almost ordered one through them but damn. I won’t pay for something that should be free or heavily discounted for large companies. How much and from where did you order it? One I was looking at from them was...

    Is this stock or cobbled?

You talking about the rivets holding the angle iron to the bottom of the bumper? Those look like factory style rivets. But they can be bought and installed aftermarket. If you’re talking about the ones holding the tire carrier and the cross brace onto the frame. Those are definitely factory...

    Is this stock or cobbled?

There’s also a hidden hitch with a roll pan on eBay for a hunnit more or so.

    Is this stock or cobbled?

Definitely a PO special. Need something like this. IT SAYS 78 but I looked and its application lists for 73-87

    A Hustler Stick Tool

Never seen one. The logic is sound. I was a member on another forum once upon a time. And the idea was a thread where other users could “loan” tools from one another like Kragen. Person who needed the tool would pay a deposit plus shipping both ways. This tool makes that idea seem handy.

Hold back the tears...it's gonna make you cry.

Out here, the yards make racks for frames and whole cars. They fit about 3 high and are lifted and lowered with 4x4 Fork lifts. Thats what ya need

Hold back the tears...it's gonna make you cry.

Yeah! Especially because @AuroraGirl HAS the space for the stuff! Add it to the gold mine of parts on the property!

Chevy k10 new here have several trucks but this one stays with me and gets Transformed now and again

I believe to convert to cross over steering/ high steer. You need Machined flat top knuckle(s) Drag Link ( Tie rod) Drop Pitman arm 2WD steering gear box. Parentheses are for the whole high steer setup. My experience is of the GMT400. I never setup a square myself. But I’m confident you’ll need...

Loud Bang, something broke, then bad vibration in park or driving

Shit take a picture of the motor mount. Usually when those go the engine will sag to one side. And the bolts are a little obvious. Look at the engine while it’s running. It’ll almost look like it’s jumping. If not obvious pull nn the throttle a bit. See if it jerks. If that all checks out look...

Hold back the tears...it's gonna make you cry.

But wait!? why not pay them for the parts. A quick few hunnid. They make money you make money AND save some amazingly desirable parts.

    Random Diff Questions

That’s fantastic. This sets a standard for just how bad a gear can be setup and still “function”. Did it make noise before you opened it? Or did it wear is self in to the point it was actually silent?

    Rear End Rebuild?

Backlash and pinion depth. Howling From my experience is too loose. A whine is too tight. but these aren’t rules just my experience. Taking apart a rear end that has a few thousand miles on it means you gotta set it up to where it was. Not to what’s “correct” so you need a prework pattern and...

    Kill switch ideas?

I’m not a fan if you don’t have the memory on the stereo wired directly to the batt. If you have that resolved more power to you. Seen too many where the stereo is all confused after this trick.

    Need help deciding.

    I wouldn’t let $200 keep me from a truck I’d want.

    Need help deciding.

If I found a cap that looked right on the truck, I’d be all over it. Not in a rush to grab one. The sliders do leak in 3/5 that I have seen and is the reason I yanked one out. Was kinda hoping the issue is not as big a factor with newer designs. The breezer window has a glass that locks in when...

    Need help deciding.

Old, scratched, found on side of road to replace previous leaking slider. Just needed somethin in there to DD it. It shows its age.

    Need help deciding.

OPP flush back glass Laurence slider Breezer removable back window Or just the stock one. I bought a stock gasket and lock ring a while back. But now I am debating. Back glass is old and needs to be replaced. Should I stick stock Or “Upgrade?”

    Newbie 74 step side

Scratch it. I though of something. Tint those windows. Looks sexy on a green truck.

    Newbie 74 step side

I’m going to jump on the “Just drive” it wagon. There’s no need to play with it anymore. Looks good. Things I do like to change on any car or truck I buy. Oil , air filter, plugs, wires, radiator fluid, trans fluid. Unless I know it to be good FOR SURE. Check or change. Besides that enjoy it

    Kill switch ideas?

I have been known to pop the purple connector off my trucks steering column. It lays there like it’s still connected. But truck no worky. If I’m going outta town and don’t want my family driving my shit. Unplugged she gets.

Door Plastics and door glass questions.

Suburban panels are a plenty around my part of the world. Most of the trucks have the 4 switch panels on them because that’s all they could find! I gave a set away awhile back. They were grey tho. If I run across another set I’ll reach out to you.
