    haha Thanks, man, honestly I don't know why more people don't consider the caddy motor. It has 450tq at 1500 rpm! And, it cost me $850 with all brackets/ accessories.

    So, I just skimmed over facebook marketplace and found couple of setups that maybe give me a ballpark. One was a 305/700 set up w/ accessories for $1500 and the other was a 350/700 setup w/o accessories for $1800.

    So the current 350 is 175hp/275tq and I'm going to a 71 cadillac 500 which is 400/550 paired to a 4l80e. I looked into it and it would cost waaaaay more to get 350 to that kind of power.

    So, even without the sway bar, I start to thread it straight and within a turn, you can actually see the bolt head shift to the left, taking the whole thing out of alignment with the plate. I didn't know if it would be easier to try and rethread the beginning threads, or just get another plate.

    I ordered the drop pitman arm, sway bar bushing kit and drag link end. After that, I'll get it aligned. Hopefully that will take the slop out of the steering.

    Yeah, I know it... So, there was no movement in it when I got it, so I wonder if by installing the parts wrong, would that have ruined the fuse, or relay? Wondering what I should check next.
