    Fuel Selector Valve - 1 wire > 6 wire

I was lucky enough to get a used valve from my new friend Perry (idahovette) but for those of you that aren't as lucky I found a really good post about a workable option without having to change your selector switch. If you are in the same boat as me its worth a look. He updated it today with...

    Fuel Selector Valve - 1 wire > 6 wire

A good Samaritan here on this forum had an extra and is shipping it to me! Faith in humanity restored.

    Dual Tank Switch Issue

Haha. You'll get some money even if it doesn't work for your time and effort. You'll get even more if it works! I can't tell you how much I appreciate you doing this for me!!

    Dual Tank Switch Issue

I sent you an email. To be completely honest these things are almost impossible to find which obviously gives them some good value. On craigslist there is a new one for sale for $350 + $100 shipping. I found a retailer that had a new one and was asking $566 + standard shipping costs. I'm not...

    Fuel Selector Valve - 1 wire > 6 wire

I tried Dan's earlier this week with no luck. Just called Craig Motors and they want $566.18. Thanks for the leads though!

    Dual Tank Switch Issue

The single wire valve the mechanic got me was not new and was faulty. I created a new post since I'm unable to find a good single wire 6 port valve. Below is the link. I've searched for days trying to find one and have run out of options unless someone on this forum has one for sale? I'm...

    Fuel Selector Valve - 1 wire > 6 wire

My mechanic and I are having some problems with switching to the Sniper EFI. We have to change the 3 port fuel selector valve to a 6 port fuel selector valve. As you may know the 6 port 1 wire selector valves are hard to find. We want to minimize electrical changes so are trying to find a way...

Thank you. I'll give that a try.

    Dual Tank Switch Issue

Unfortunately, it doesn't switch back. It is located close to and forward to the selector valve.

    Dual Tank Switch Issue

I had a local truck mechanic shop order one for me. I'll have to ask where he got it. I pulled off the original 3 port valve, cleaned the area and lightly sanded and put the new one back in its place.

It is the OEM single wire variety.

    Dual Tank Switch Issue

I should have mentioned that both tanks were working great prior to changing the selector valve to the OEM 6 port valve.

    Dual Tank Switch Issue

Hoping I can find some expertise. I have a 77 K10 and am installing the Sniper EFI. In my previous setup I didn't have fuel return lines which I had to add for the EFI. I had to change out the valve to the 6 port valve to support return lines to each of the tanks. The switch will change the...

    Replacement steering wheel

Here is the one I got from LMC truck. I like it I wish the dish depth was less so that the wheel itself was a little closer to the column giving me more room. I think I'll be switching to 38-1167 in the second image. I just wish it was bigger than 14".

    The Bench Seat...

I had mine rebuilt and recovered at a local shop here in Hillsboro, OR. It was a bit costly ($400) but I love the end result. They fixed some springs, replaced some of the cushion and recovered it based on an idea...http://chevy.piratesproductions.com/2016/05/bench-looking-good.html

    Oil Pan Issues

I did put the 10T on the first time but I'm back in business. Not sure if I overtightend the first time or if the old pan was warped. But I put in a new pan with a new gasket with just a dab of ultra black in the four corners and now leek free!

    Oil Pan Issues

Its so wet its difficult to tell. Appears to be at the front and maybe back. The sides look ok. I may get a new oil pan and new gasket and start over.

    Oil Pan Issues

I had a small leak/seepage from my oil pan. I picked up a felpro one piece gasket, pulled the oil pan, removed the old gasket and put on the felpro with a bit of seal on the corners and tightened it down. Now I have a much, much worse leak. Any ideas? 350 Small Block - Drivers side dipstick

The seat is original. The design was mine and executed by the upholsterer.

    Replacement seat upholstery

You might try contacting a local auto upholstery company. Mine were in bad shape so I reached out to a local company. I didn't care about original design so I gave them a concept and they redid mine including some new cushions and springs for $400. It would have been cheaper if the seats...

    Timing??

I believe so. I took it for a test drive and couldn't get it to ping again so pretty confident it was timing detonation. I drove it like that for maybe 20 miles so hopefully didn't do any permanent damage. Doesn't sound/feel like it but who knows if the pistons are in as good of shape as they...

    Timing??

Thanks for all the advice folks! I had someone come help with a mobile tack and timing light. The timing was somehow set to over 20. Dialed it down to 10, adjusted idles, fuel mixture and the choke and it is running like a champ!

Thanks, its a stock distributor with a brand new NAPA cap, rotor and coil.

    Timing??

I think thats the case. I think its still happening I just cant hear it. I've been watching additional videos and it sure sounds like detonation. I've been driving it for a few days now since the carb swap so I hope I haven't done any permanent damage. I certainly wont continue driving it...
