    STEP BUMPER ON BLAZER

Here is the inside of the bumper. I cut some of it away due to how the ends of the frame turn down.

    STEP BUMPER ON BLAZER

Here is a full pic of the bracket. The holes where already there on the frame so I can't tell you if they are original.

    STEP BUMPER ON BLAZER

The bumper bracket set was off the 84 pickup. They are upside down, put on the outside of the frame, and swapped from left to right. The flat little tab sticking out on it was connected to a tow bar that was on the 84 pickup. Like I said mine are perfectly straight so it wouldn't to hard to fab...

    STEP BUMPER ON BLAZER

This is the area I'm referring to that I had to cut away to get it closer to the body, but I'd like to clearance it a bit more and pulled it in.

    STEP BUMPER ON BLAZER

I can take more specific pictures if you want. Just tell me what you're looking for. In the end I would like to have the bumper sit a little closer to the body. But to do that I would have to chew away at the bumpers mounting location area. It wouldn't be hard just moving on to other projects...

    STEP BUMPER ON BLAZER

Looking at the bumper you attached it looks just like my bumper. But looking at the attachment for brackets shows they have a kind of Bend to them so I wonder if the mounting portion of the bumper is the same width as the frame. The brackets that hold my bumper to the frame are perfectly...

    STEP BUMPER ON BLAZER

I put the bumper mounting brackets on the outside of the frame.

    STEP BUMPER ON BLAZER

Custom brackets hold this 84 pickup bumper on my burb. I dont have the outrigger brackets connected yet, I would have to fab where they would connect. Im holding the bracket in place in the 2nd pic and you can see where it lands. I also notched out part of the bumper to suck it into the body a...

    Decent Paint Job

I'll play. For the OP. I'd go get a quart of the premixed 1k paint from autozone and a cheap cup gun. Its better than a rattle can.

    '75 top not 'fitting'

Can't imagine that, unless you shortened the body somehow but it doesn't sound like it. Old gasket still on part of it? So like its doubled up somewhere?

    Tbi vs carb

I'm definitely keeping the Tbi set up thats on there now, it's working fine and I see no reason to change it for the sake of change. For my future 454/5 speed swap I was planning on throwing some cash into the engine, tossing the tbi, and building for some power. But, I may have to reconsider...

    Tbi vs carb

Raider L This is my first time really building a rig with fuel injection that'll be taken out in the woods or mountains. All my other vehicles are carbureted for the exact reasons you mentioned. And I really haven't had any problems with them except for in my Jeep when I start flopping it sideways.

    Tbi vs carb

Totally understand you on that. Im a painter and my 'do the job' price is significantly cheaper than my 'fix the job' price. I'd rather not deal with someone else's attempt. Im asking for it too so dont be shy telling me how it is. First hand experience is always the best.

    Tbi vs carb

I appreciate the opinion. I was asking which way people go if they swap. Im happy with the way my rig is and never was considering selling it. And im a cheap sob. If I was to swap from tbi to carb getting a parts rig is after all the smartest route. I'll resell most of it and make it just about...

    Tbi vs carb

Thanks bextreme04 for your insight. I already own a running driving 454/5speed/4x4 with 160,xxx miles. Its the one in my post in 'other rigs'. I got it for the purpose of using the engine tranny in the future for my burb. And I was trying to make it a easy as I can on myself by getting a 454...

Ah so the fabric is done then? Yeah that changes things.

    Tbi vs carb

Im putting a little more info here to help. Im happy with my current setup and it works fine with tbi. I dont like computers in the boonies. so if it came with a carb I'd be fine with it and probably wouldn't change it. I'm just asking to kind of get the feeling of the crowd here. I do have a...

    Tbi vs carb

Thanks bextreme04. Im into wheeling and tipping my rig so there is a benefit sometimes to swap from a carb to tbi when power is about stock. But that is admittedly partial to off-road only. A street princess won't be the same.

I need gaskets and seal kit for A 10 spline SM465 NP 205

I'd figure you could order one in any parts store or your favorite online distributor. Fel pro at summit? Is there a specific reason, is it hard to find?
