    Rear Ends

Cam profile can be a limiting factor of your top end as well. Or if the engine is a complete used-up dishrag.

4wd front spring eye bolt size? front axle

I think mine are coarse, like 13 pitch or so.

    Vortec heads

The heads will bolt on fine but you'll have to get a new intake. If you plan on running your original tbi I think they make intakes to adapt it, ir get a regular carbed intake and an adapter plate to install your tbi.

    1975 K10 hub/rotor removal

There's a large snapring in the hub near the outside edge that holds the hub assembly in, and a small snapring on the end of the axle stub shaft. Both have to be removed to disassemble the hub. You can reach behind the hub to the knuckle and push the axleshaft out a little and the stub shaft...

What is the brak lever assembly attached to the rear diff?

Got a pic of it? It sounds like something I've seen on 80s Toyota trucks. It's designed so that when you're hauling a load it increases your rear braking power. But a pic would be 1000x more helpful.

    Head Gasket?

Wish I would have caught you sooner, before ordering anything. You might want to pick up one of those Haynes manuals for these trucks, and an affordable auto-ranging multimeter. They will have voltage/amp/ohm specs for these sensors and the wiring that connects to them. Wiring can get...

Aluminum is ok. Of course stainless is better. But yeah I got aluminum for mine.

    fitech install om 77 c10

Just the videos I've watched of those systems there may be a different engine profile you can try. I would call their tech support, heard nothing but great things about them. If you just wanted to tinker for now I would try the next lower engine profile. If it's already low, and depending on...

    Np203 advice

Keep searching craigslist, you should be able to find a match pair. Otherwise you could pull the front driveshaft out till you can find a matched front. You just wont be able to leave it in "park", it will roll away because of the diff in the t-case.

Need to wack a little off the rear drive shaft..

My local driveline shop does charge more for lengthening a driveshaft, they refuse to add on tubing, they replace the whole piece so it's all one piece. But shortening a driveshaft is pretty cheap, right in line with what Nick said his local shop does.

    Front axle shafts joints

Yep, and I like they have the detailed graphic of the part's dimensions on their website.

    Head Gasket?

Definitely doesn't sound like a head gasket, more like a sensor. Reset the ECU and see if it straightens out but don't take it for a ride. Pull the codes if you can. Just a guess but sounds like what happens when an o2 sensor goes out of spec or catalytic converter gets stopped up.

    Botched crank shaft install

Cut your plastigage about 1/2" long. Most it will squish out is about 1/16" max. I don't know about other autoparts stores but NAPA definitely carries plastigage.

    Botched crank shaft install

First thing I thought was #1 on the crank had not been turned. At 0.020" the bearing will fit outside the block, it's not much for the bearing to spring out that little bit, but in the block it is a big difference. No way to tell without a caliper micrometer. The digital ones are cheap at Harbor...

    14 bolt-dana 70 dually axle differences

There's a lot of differences depending on year, series, chassis, etc. These 2 articles should help map out the differences. If given the choice I would always go with the 14 bolt full-floater due to its simplicity. http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billavista/14b_bible/index.html...

    6 x 9 Behind Seat

I made a pair out of sheet metal, really not too hard. Just cut your opening for the speaker and leave a couple inches on both sides to bend at a 45 degree angle for mounting flanges, one for the back wall and one close to the door. Mounting is totally up to you, strong epoxy glue or sheet metal...

Need to wack a little off the rear drive shaft..

If you do this, use a high-speed cut-off tool like a 4" angle grinder with a cut-off wheel and go REALLY SLOW. The slower you go the cooler the cut. You don't want to overheat the yoke above the running temperature of these parts which is typically under 300 degrees. As for the driveshaft...

    fitech install om 77 c10

From what I've read these systems learn over time so it may take a few warm-up cycles and driving cycles for it to get squared away depending on your location. If your area normally has warm days it wont take much for it to learn but if you have 20 degree mornings and 60 degree days it will...

water leak both sides, firewall/cowl areas

Something I've been doing in tight places like that is shoving my cell phone up in there or a small camera and take a bunch of pics. I did that when the fresh/recirculated air flap controller was going out so I could see what it even looked like.

Show me your electric fan conversion

Nice! I drilled 3/8" holes in the radiator support to slip in extruded u-nuts, and used long bolts and aluminum tubing/washers to serve as standoffs cut to just the right length to give the fan mounts a little tension. Turned out to be pretty sturdy. I dont think this pic shows the tubing...

K10 Electric fan that can fit in the Shroud

That should be plenty. The problem you run into is the temperature switch and relays. Those little "e-fan kits" ain't much. I used a pair of fan relays I had from a toyota, and ordered a switch but it wasn't the right heat range. Once the fans kicked on they wouldn't kick off. I'm wondering if I...

K10 Electric fan that can fit in the Shroud

X2 this is what I used. May have to upgrade your anternator, any e-fan pulls a lot of amps. But the Aerostar dual fan from mid 90s is the perfect width, just have to rig up mounts.
