    Sbc 350 vacuum hose help

Yup, that’s exactly what I did. My swap was a 6.2 diesel to a 350. Very similar to your swap

    Sbc 350 vacuum hose help

When you say the small trans line I’m assuming you mean the line coming from the transmission modulator. Correct me if I’m wrong. Then yes, it goes to the port on the back of the intake. Where does the other line come from?

    Coil spring lift spacer questions

Does the aluminum not crush under the weight? Obviously it must not be a problem but seems like it would flatten out a little. As for the lift, 2.5 - 3 inches is what I’m going for! Thanks!

    Coil spring lift spacer questions

Howdy! First, I would like to explain my truck and its future purpose. I have a 1982 c20 that has springs from when it was a 6.2 diesel and now has a 350. This makes it leveled. I plan on doing some off road (gravel mountain roads, dirt trails, and a little snow driving with chains) and I will...

Need help identifying this metal line coming out the back of my carburetor

This line was tied into the vac line that went to the cruise control when it was a diesel. No more cruise control, so can this be capped?

Need help identifying this metal line coming out the back of my carburetor

The title explains this post. What is this metal line coming out the back of my carburetor for? Is it needed or can it be capped off? This is a mid 70s (I believe 1977) Rochester 2gc carb. Thanks so much for the help in advance, everyone!

    Rebuild or Swap?

In my opinion, rebuilding the 350 is your best bet. It’s easy and can be done on a fairly cheap budget and will look great all painted up again. Plus, nothing looks better than a time period correct engine that’s been redone. Again, just my opinions. You do what you want.

    Help with gauge cluster lights

This video was very helpful. My bulbs were loose in the socket and this will help the keep a connection. I’ve decided to get a new circuit board and bulb sockets so hopefully that will help too.

    Help with gauge cluster lights

I have been using regular bulbs for diagnostic. Still, sometimes a socket will work when I try it and then it will just go out. Very frustrating.

    Help with gauge cluster lights

Good to know as I am swapping over to LED. I didn’t know that the connection was where it touches the board. I have been trying to clean the inside of the bulb holder.

    Help with gauge cluster lights

Half of my lights behind the gauges on the dash don’t turn on. So I got some new bulbs, plugged ‘em in and… still nothing in the ones that didn’t work before. I know absolutely nothing about electrical and need some help here. Are the sockets that the bulb plugs into replaceable? Thanks all in...

That looks great! Maybe if I can find some hardware at a local parts store I’ll go that route. I don’t want to wait for shipping because I want to get it back on the road as soon as possible.
