    Found my miss problem when changing plugs. 8 cylinder plug boot burned through and was arching to the header. Replaced it with an old wire. Guess I'm gonna get some fireproof boots for it again and put one on #8. New msd wires too. Sucks they are expensive.

    Also dumped 4.5 gallons of used oil at oriely and got some new gear oil for the 84's diff. Rain rain go away and come back some other day. Lol

    I'm planning on changing the plugs in the 82 today but, rain has delayed me for now. Hopefully I can do it here in a few if it dries up a bit.

    Rpm’s at Hwy speeds

    I have a 454 with a 700r4 and 3.73 rear end on 28" tires and it runs 2,200 or so at 65mph.

    What's a catch can? Never had to have one on my 2000 Camaro SS. It never used oil like that and had 112,000 miles on the motor.

    This is what I used. It should work. I just globbed on some and pushed it on And let it harden. It works even if it's a little wet. I probably used a little more than I needed but it holds.

    Mine was right where I could get to it without having to remove it. You should be able to shove the fan shroud towards the motor and slide the radiator up and out after disconnecting the hoses and transmission lines. I think it wouldn't take much pressure to get it to leak. Maybe 25 or 30 pounds...

    HOW GEAR OIL?

    I need to change the gear oil in the 84's 10 bolt. Now that I now how to fill it, what type of gear oil should I use? Isn't it 80w-90?

    If you can find the leak yourself there's some radiator puddy I got from Walmart or parts house that works really well. I put it on the 82 and it has held up well. I was gonna buy a new one but tried that first and it's help up ever since. Just another option for you. I'll take a picture of it...

    Cleaned up the 84's engine bay a little bit. Then moved the 82 to the side of the garage so I have more room in the driveway.

    Had to get a new alt belt for the 84. Also bought new plugs for the 82. The old belt was absolutely the smallest one you could get. I barley got it off. So I bought one 2 sizes bigger because the alternator was as far down as you could go and I had plenty of adjustment in it. It was too small...

    I used vth caliper paint yellow on my rotors for the camaro and that sit didn't last no time. So idk. I was disappointed for sure. I thought it would be good but, not. Lol

    Drove the 84 to my buddy's stereo shop so he can take measurements to build me a custom subwoofer box.

    Bought this led light switch from HF. Added some magnets and stuck it on the roof since I don't have a dome light. It's plenty bright. Not bad for 4 bucks or so. Like the club? Lol

    The ones on my 82 are huge pos! Plus I only have one on the driver's side and I turn it on with a wall light switch that the po wired up. Lol

    No I wired it in to the fuse box. It comes with a switch to turn off and on. I put it on the kick panel with velcro in case I need to remove it.     Here ya go pictures of my TRUCK BED at night. They're pretty Brite. You can definitely see to load or unload stuff in the dark. I'd like to see how it looks going down the road. Pretty sure that you could see it from a good distance. My phone camera is pretty crappy but it is what it is...
