Do you have the correct gasket? Trust me they all look alike. I supplied the glass guy with the new gasket I bought from LMC. Vracked the windshield. Glass guy came back with new glass and his gasket and it went right in. The two gaskets were close, but you could see differences.

I put an after market cat on today. Am going to try my luck with the inspection nazis again this year. If it passes I am going to put antique tags on it. Never has to be inspected again as long as I own it! I have been driving it for the past year with expired tags. lol

Have not used sikaflex, but have used the west system 610 I think is the number for pre thickened adhesive in a tube. I used it to fill the holes on a tractor bucket that we took the hard edge off of. Still has not leaked or broken out, 5 years later.

There was a guy in Penn, that was selling kits to weld up, as well as finished. Maybe someone will chime in with the name. I am drawing a blank currently.

When drilling a truck frame there is no replacement for the magnet drill! I met my first one 8 years ago and thought. well f**k me! Where have you been my whole life? lol

p.s. I want in on the deals as well.
I had and used one for years on my v10. The mason who was the previous owner had welded 1" round bar from the back of the hitch to the frame on both sides, forming a triangle. Never had an issue till it was time to replace the bumper. Smoke wrench made short work of the round bar. lol

The biggest duck bill vise grips you can find to start, then continue to roll it over with body hammer and dolly. Could also cut a piece of wood to help keep rolling it over if not handy with hammer and dolly. I would practice on a scrap before you get onto your skin.

Hi and welcome! The original pump from napa ect. is cheap and easy to install. Just get a new lock ring and o-ring for a easy peasy swap. A new set of gas tank straps and hardware would prolly speed thins up as well.

Here is my new girl friend. Air over hydraulic 20 ton press, fresh back from the machine shop where it was diss assymbled and drilled and tapped for the pressure gauge attachment. Due to the cylinders piston surface area that gauge reads 3x lower than actual pressure on the table. 6,000 is...
Not Redfish, but I will jump in. For me the thought of putting blocks on well worn springs was a non starter. Having seen some blocks get wonky from a poor install was another reason I opted for the spring lift, front and rear.

Cost of materials!!! I just forked out $75.00 for a gallon of high gloss black rustoleum to freshen up a 2 axle trailer. Glad I am donw with my paint work.

Do not borrow the snap on kit from your buddy! I did and the f ing thing broke when I used it. Had to buy him a new one. That was one of the last tools I ever borrowed. lol I would buy the harbor fright and getter done.

I will second the reply that shops stray away from full paint like the plague. Insurance work pays better. If you find a " resto shop " that will take it, be careful. 3 shops that do custom work and resto work have opened in my area in the last year serving people with more money than good...
Bent hinges are my guess. Remove the hood pins prior to trying to r&r hinges and attempt a re fitment. If you are comfortable with the idea, remove the pins and grab the hood while partially open and give it a shove to the driver side to try and tweak what you have back a closer fir before you...
Ask anybody that has run a boat in salt water, and you will quickly learn about electrolysis. I would drain the entire cooling system, flush with clean water, and then go back in with a water that has a neutral ph, no hardness.
