Tubular on the c1oh
C10 and C20 use the same front coil springs. Try the sway bar first, get a heavy duty one. There are also rear sway bars available. Leave the rear shocks alone, the engineers at gm had a good reason to make the shock setup how it is. Staggered shocks dampen the axle wind up under acceleration.- ali_c20

Depends on how much you want to spend. The pickup roof skin has no drip rails but it could be as base. If you have good body work skills it would be doable. Or try to get a good roof at a junkyard...- ali_c20

Can’t find a heater core for my c20 suburban…
Maybe the po changed the heater core when the ac was installed. Is there a part number on the old heater? Measure the inlet and outlet size too and search by dimension on summit. I came up with this, not an exact match but they could fit. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-382140... -
Will stock emergency brake cable work on a truck that has a body lift?
Friend of mine runs 4" suspension lift and 2" body lift with stock cables on his K5. -

What new tools have you got lately?
My new vice made in Germany. Lots of forged parts with no play in any moving part. Nice detail: it can be driven with a 1/2 inch ratchet wrench. -

Back from the garage, yes the pinion is offset. These are the measurement from my 74 C20. I measured from the inside of the spring perches. Perches to pumpkin: D: 8.2 P: 12.4 Perches to pinion: D: 20.65 P: 19.5 I learned something today as often in this forum:)- ali_c20

Cab bottom pics needed
I would not use the undercoating. It hardens over time and starts to crack. Water gets in and creeps under the undercoating. The rust can not be seen and when the undercoating falls off you have serious rust problem. That's my experience with undercoating products. I use a good primer and 2K...- ali_c20

TH200 R4 questions
The 200r4 takes ~11 quarts of oil when the transmission is and converter empty. Start with 8 quarts and add till you reach the right amount.- ali_c20
