Stepside bed hits gas tank
did you take the wood bed sills out and maybe have them in the wrong order. i thought there were 2 different sizes....maybe I am mistaken ....or i dreamt it- Ken B

fuel venting
so what I am looking at doing is cutting in a T on the fill hose vent line to attach my return vent from the charcoal cannister....is this a good or bad idea ? obviously would need something compatible with gasoline . Looks like maybe a 3/4 vent hose for fuel filler....- Ken B

I have fuel in and out of fuel pump and to carb done, i think. I have a hard line that runs across the front to charcoal canister and to the rear of the truck where do I land that hard vent line from the canister?- Ken B

Bringing the Cat back...enough is enough.

Air inlet on the core support?
i knocked it out on the pass side. was just wondering about the opening getting covered on drivers side. I may try and tack the knockout back in on the unused side. -
Air inlet on the core support?
Resurrecting an old thread. I am moving the air ducting from drivers to pass side. Is there a problem leaving the plastic air inlet piece on the core support open or not connected to anything? Any problem with directing air to the air inlet tubing with the opening on the otherside allowing air... -

the pv tool that centers the pv while bleeding helps. I went thru 1 new chinese prop valve then spent a little more on a 2nd one and it didnt leak- Ken B

temp sensor
thanks for the info. this not my original engine its a late 80s-90 engine. bushed to fit i did see that. guessing the bushing may try and come out when i try to remove sensor we will see. i think the sensor is a 13/16 socket to remove from the research I looked at. shoulda done this when the...- Ken B

What have you done to your square lately??
Got the engine running yesterday. very pleased that it fired off so quickly. I have a new fuel system so was concerned about leaks , problems. New tank , lines, fuel pump. tested new fuel pump by cranking disconnected fuel line at carb into a milk jug, great flow. hooked up the fuel line to the... -

temp sensor
before i look at replacing this temp sensor, am I correct to assume the sensor is only the smaller diameter brass that is in the block? the outer brass is a bushing? thanks in advance- Ken B

What is this sensor?
this picture enlightened me, my sensor connection point looked like a hollow "pipe". looking at this picture i can now tell mine is a nail head that the "head" was knocked off. old thread still spreading information thanks- Ken B
